Eric J. Greenberg, MD, is the co-director of Neu Urgent Care. Dr. Greenberg provides urgent and general medical care to patients at Neu’s facility in Hazel Park, Michigan, and also sees patients who struggle with addiction.
Dr. Greenberg received a bachelor of science in human biology from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, graduating with high honors. He earned his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He then attended a four-year training program in emergency medicine at the Louisiana State University (LSU) Health Science Center in New Orleans.
While at LSU, Dr. Greenberg conducted important medical research on standardized discharge strategies and their effects on emergency department readmission rates. He also earned three “Save of the Month” awards, given to emergency medicine residents, and was named resident director of the LSU Emergency Department Clinical Quality Review Panel. At Mount Sinai, Dr. Greenberg researched the factors that predict patient readmission.
Dr. Greenberg is an active member of the Touro Infirmary Leadership Foundation in New Orleans. He is the author or co-author of numerous publications related to emergency medicine readmission rates. He has also written extensively about depression.
When Dr. Greenberg is not seeing patients at Neu Urgent Care, he is also on the staff of Concentra Occupational Health in Southfield, Michigan and Encompass Healthcare in West Bloomfield, Michigan.
